High Armour
Bold, graphic pieces, defined by its striking contrasts and sculptural precision. Juxtaposing ebony and white opal in a play of light and dark, natural and mineral, these materials mimic the high contrast of the elongated emerald-cut diamonds that they display at the centre.
Drawing on the geometry explored in the latest ‘Vertex’ and ‘Deep Vertex’ collections, ‘High Armour’ reaches beyond these influences to the pure graphic expression found in ancient Egyptian and African artifacts. Clean lines and strong symmetry are balanced with Jorge’s signature fluidity.
